Kids on the Keys Summer Piano Camp

Kids on the Keys Piano Camp is a great bridge between Musical Kids classes and beginning piano lessons. It is also a perfect learning opportunity for children who might be interested in piano lessons but aren't quite old enough or unsure of whether they would like piano lessons.
- Piano Camp includes musical games, beginning piano pieces, music theory, staff and rhythmic notation and ear training.
- Classes are one hour long and each child plays from a beginning piano book on keyboards and pianos.
- Class size is no more than six students, ages 5 1/2 through age 8.
- Tuition is $90 including a nonrefundable $25 registration fee. Purchase of a piano lesson book is optional.
The Piano Camp instructor is Kristin Sample, owner of Musical Kids. Kristin has a degree in Piano Performance from Albertson College of Idaho, is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and past president of Idaho Music Teachers Association. She performed with the College of Idaho Symphony, has won awards in piano performance, is an adjudicator of music festivals and co-founded the IMTA Sonatina Festival and IMTA Clinic. She has chaired state and regional MTNA competitions, state IMTA conventions, has taught private/group piano lessons for many years and is a church organist.
